This policy explains how the NoServiceLapse mobile app (“the app”), published by CodersAI (“we”), handles your information. In short: we do not receive, collect, store or sell your data. The app has no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.

Data we collect

None. We do not run any server that receives your data.

Data stored on your phone

Everything you enter, such as items, warranty and insurance dates, service history, notes and attached documents, is stored in the app's private storage on your phone. The app works fully without an account and without internet.

Optional Google Drive backup

If you choose “Sign in with Google”, the app creates one folder named NoServiceLapse in your own Google Drive. It holds a spreadsheet with your data and a folder with your documents. These files belong to you and live in your Google account. You can open them in Google Sheets and Google Drive at any time.

The app asks for one Google permission only, drive.file. It lets the app see and manage only the files the app created itself. The app cannot see or open any other file in your Drive. The app talks directly from your phone to Google. The developer never receives your data or your Google access token.

NoServiceLapse's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Permissions the app asks for

Notifications, to remind you before a warranty, insurance or service date. Camera and photos, only when you choose to attach a bill, warranty card or policy; the app can read only the photo or file you pick. Internet, only for the optional Google Drive backup. The app does not read your messages, email, contacts, location or other apps' notifications.

Sharing documents

When you tap Share on a document, the app opens your phone's share menu and the file goes only to the app or person you choose, under their own privacy policies. We do not share your data with anyone, because we do not have it.

Deleting your data

You can delete any item or document inside the app, and uninstalling the app deletes its data from your phone. To delete the backup, delete the NoServiceLapse folder in your Google Drive. Documents you delete in the app are moved to your Drive trash, where you can recover or remove them. To remove the app's access to your Google account, use your Google account's third-party access settings.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
